The B.Sc Nursing degree program is a four year full-time program comprising eight semesters, which prepares B.Sc Nursing Graduates qualified to practice nursing and midwifery in a variety of settings in either public/ government or private healthcare settings.

Course: PBB.Sc Nursing/ Post Basic B.Sc Nursing -
Post Basic B.Sc. degree in Nursing is a broad based education aimed to build upon the skills and competencies acquired at the diploma in nursing level. It is a two years course specifically directed to the upgrading of critical thinking skills, competencies and standards required for practice of professional nursing and midwifery as envisaged in National Health Policy.

The basic Diploma course in General Nursing and Midwifery is geared to the health needs of the individuals, family, community and the country at large. The duration of the course in 3 years, internship has been integrated within the time period of the course.

Course: M.Sc Nursing
The postgraduate program in nursing is to prepare graduates to assume responsibilities as nurse specialists, consultants, educators, administrators in a wide variety of professional settings. The duration of the course is 2 years.

Students study medical-surgical nursing, pediatric nursing, community health nursing, and anatomy & physiology.
Undergraduate Curriculum:
The curriculum integrates classroom learning with extensive hospital training, ensuring strong practical and professional skills.
Admission Requirements:

🩺 B.Sc Nursing
Candidates must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English from a recognized board.
A minimum of 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology is required.
English must be passed individually and is compulsory for eligibility.
Minimum age for admission is 17 years as on 31st December of the admission year.
Maximum age limit is 35 years.
Equivalent qualifications recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi are accepted.
🩺 Post Basic B.Sc Nursing (P.B.B.Sc Nursing)
Candidates must hold a Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM).
Applicant must be a Registered Nurse with a recognized Nursing Council.
Working knowledge of English is required.
Candidates above 48 years of age are not eligible for admission.
🩺 GNM (General Nursing & Midwifery)
Candidates must have completed 10+2 with English from a recognized board.
Minimum 40% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination are required.
Students from State Open Schools and NIOS recognized by the Government are also eligible.
Candidates from vocational streams in Healthcare Science with 40% marks are eligible.
Minimum age for admission is 17 years, and the upper age limit is 35 years.
Equivalent qualifications approved by AIU, New Delhi are accepted.
🩺 M.Sc Nursing
Candidates must be a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife with a recognized State Nursing Council.
Must have completed B.Sc Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc Nursing with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks.
The qualifying degree must be from an institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC).
A minimum of one year of work experience after Basic or Post Basic B.Sc Nursing is required.
